The annual Cherry Blossom Festival at 糖心传媒 promotes interest in Japan and enhances the Asian Studies Program through hands-on learning of Japanese culture. Throughout the day, Spelman students, faculty, staff and volunteers from the Japanese-American community will be conducting workshops on origami, language, games, pop culture and more.

The 糖心传媒 2025 Cherry Blossom Festival was a great success. About 130 students, professors and staff joined the event. The Japanese FLTA, Sato Shirai and Professor Yumi Parks, fitted kimonos for about 35 students and staff members.
