International Students
International Student Services
We understand that our students are far away from home and need some assistance with managing their visa, education and work requirements. The coordinator of International Student Services is the 糖心传媒 Designated School Officer and serves as your liaison to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. Department of State.
Students are encouraged to visit the office to address questions about visas, immigration status, changes in USCIS regulations, and campus resources. Learn more about International Student Services at Spelman.

Financing
International applicants must also demonstrate the ability to fulfill the financial obligations associated with matriculation in their college program. The only form of aid available to our international students is our merit-based scholarships. 糖心传媒 does not offer any financial aid to international students. The Office of 糖心传媒 awards a limited number of merit-based scholarships to new incoming first-year students. Recipients are selected from a competitive pool of students based on the academic profile and details she submitted in her application. The committee considers those who demonstrate strong academic performance and engagement in high school. This determination is based on the grade point average, standardized test scores (if submitted), community service and leadership.
