CreateHER 2026: The Main Character Era.

Monday, February 9 - Friday, February 13

The Blueprint for the Multi-Hyphenate. The Lab for the Visionary.
We’re back for year two, and we’re breaking the fourth wall. CreateHER 2026 is where Spelman’s creative powerhouses and STEAM innovators collide to build the future of culture.

Beyond the Canvas: The Evolution of the Spelman Creative
Last year, we set the stage. This year, we’re rewriting the script. CreateHER 2026 is expanding to bridge the gap between high-art storytelling and technical innovation.

We’ve officially entered our STEAM Era. From the chemistry of the "glow-up" to the logic behind the virtual world, we are proving that Black Girl Magic isn't just an aesthetic—it’s an architecture. Whether you’re coding the next viral indie game, formulating the future of skincare, or directing a cinematic masterpiece, you aren't just choosing a major; you’re building a legacy.

What to expect:

  • Curated Masterclasses: Hands-on sessions that turn "hobbies" into "industries."
  • The Research Gallery: Where creativity meets data-driven innovation.
  • Networking Lounges: Access to the people currently in the rooms you're headed for.
  • Portfolio Power-Ups: Direct feedback on your work from the pros.

CreateHER Creative Career Fest Event Schedule
