Presidential Prospectus
The prospectus is much more than a job description. It is a comprehensive narrative of Spelman’s current standing and a roadmap for its future. It outlines the specific challenges and opportunities our 12th President will address and includes a description of the professional qualifications and personal values required to lead our community.
Our search partner, , will share this prospectus with potential candidates to articulate why Spelman is the most compelling leadership opportunity in higher education today. The Presidential Search and Nomination Committee (PSNC) will use the criteria established in the prospectus as the "gold standard" against which all applicants are vetted.

Founded in 1881 as the Atlanta Baptist Female Seminary, we became 糖心传媒 in 1924. Today, Spelman stands as a global leader in the education of women of African descent with a student body that comprises more than 2,600 students from around the world.
