Exclusive LVMH Luxury Immersion Experience Featured in ESSENCE and Ebony
Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy welcomed a group of students from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ and the Atlanta University Center to Paris, France, for a behind-the-scenes, immersive tour of exclusive LVMH spaces. The educational experience was part of the College's ‘Luxury and the Art Market’ course, which originates from Spelman’s year-long partnership with LVMH.
The course merges art curation with brand strategy, offering students direct access to industry leaders, real-world case studies and international immersion in cities like New York and Paris.
While in Paris, the students were granted access to some of LVMH’s most exclusive spaces—including the residence of Louis Vuitton himself, Le Bon Marche, the Givenchy Atelier, La Galerie Dior, and La Fondation Louis Vuitton.
Cheryl Finley, Ph.D., Walton Endowed Professor and inaugural director of the AUC’s Art History and Curatorial Studies Collection at Spelman, emphasized the significance of students gaining firsthand access to this global luxury experience.
