As the Business Operations Specialist, Corinthia Coleman, coordinates the synchronization of vendors in Banner/Spel-Shop (Jaggaer) and maintains the Preferred Vendor List. She works with the Procurement Agent/Specialist and Manager of Procurement & Sourcing to assess requisitions for adherence to Procurement policies and to validate funds in Banner.
Corinthia leads the Copy Center production, which includes printing posters, booklets, brochures, programs, etc. She manages the Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) database; Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) vendors; Food Service vendors compliance; and Motor Coach/transportation vendors (maintaining State and Federal compliance).
Prior to joining Spelman, Corinthia worked at Valentine Enterprises Inc. as a Buyer where she developed a great network of vendors through managing the purchase order process for raw materials/MRO including sourcing, negotiating, vendor/inventory management, cost savings initiatives, and collaborating with various teams on special projects.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids/family, traveling, and outdoor activities.
