Parking and Campus Access Instructions for Homecoming

Please adhere to the following information to access the campus during Homecoming.

Friday, Oct. 17, 2025:

• Spelman’s main gate at Westview Drive will be open to vehicular traffic until 11:30 a.m. All students, faculty and staff who are enrolled in Spelman’s parking program will have access to campus parking lots and the West Campus Parking Deck and will be required to enter and exit campus through the Beverly D. Tatum (BDT) Suites Roadway between 11:30 am and 6 p.m.
• Visitors to ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ will have access to the West Campus Parking Deck as space allows until 11:30 a.m. and will exit via BDT Suites Roadway. Once the West Campus Parking Deck is full, visitors must park in the surrounding parking area.
• Due to high pedestrian traffic, there will be limited vendor parking on campus and limited vehicular access to Manley Roadway. The ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Greensferry Ave entrance will be limited to vendor usage.

Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025:

• Between 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., students, faculty and staff enrolled in Spelman’s parking program will have access to the West Campus Parking Deck. After 11:30 a.m., they will only be able to access the parking deck from Chapel & Westview Dr. Parking for guests and tailgaters will be available all day at the Morehouse School of Medicine deck for a cost of $30 (no cash accepted, only QR Code scan at the gate and pre-sold parking will be available).
• The Greensferry Ave entrance will open at 11:00 a.m. for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. All vehicles exit via the BDT Suites Roadway and will be diverted onto Westview Dr., traveling eastbound toward Chapel Street.
• At 11:30 a.m., the intersection of Lee Street SW and Westview Drive SW will be closed to vehicular traffic and open only for pedestrian foot traffic. The intersection of Westview Ave. SW and Chapel Street will be open to essential personnel and emergency vehicles only with parking decals to access Spelman Campus through the Suites entrance.
• Rideshare and food delivery will not be available on campus from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please use Westview Drive SW and West End Avenue SW as alternate points for pickup and drop-off. Also, Rideshare should pick up and drop off at Westview Dr. at Chapel St. Spelman Public Safety will have two officers assigned at that location to assist students, faculty and staff, guests, and vendors.

Homecoming Announcement:
From Sunday, Oct. 12 - Saturday, Oct. 18, Public Safety will have additional officers on duty, working 12-hour shifts to support various events. Offsite Parking

Offsite parking is available at Friendship Baptist Churc, $50 per vehicle /per day.

Additional offsite parking is available at the West End Mall parking lot for $30/per vehicle on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Security and AUC shuttles are included.
